right now maryland's most powerful radar we see snow showers extending out through cumberland. it's going to take awhile before we see snow around central maryland around the baltimore area or the eastern shore. the heaviest snow band with the system is south of maryland and it looks like there will continue to shift south, southeast. i think we'll muscle the heaviest snow and get the light coating to an inch similar to the last couple of snow. the lighter snow on the north side is what we'll encounter. the only winter advisories for frederick westward out into garrett county. there are weather advisories for the western third of the state. we're one degree above freezing but road temps will go above freezing. it's still going to have an impact in terms of light snow sticking. we've seen a few times with the cold temperatures. that can create slick spots on the roads that are untreated. a look at the parade forecast, we may get to 40. it will take all afternoon and in the 30s, so dress warm if you're headed downtown. temperatures, tough to get out of the 30s all dray tomorrow.
